SHOPJARI.COM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: Jan 1 2026 Last Updated: Mar 11 2026

Welcome to shopjari.com, operated by Studio JARI LLC ("JARI," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or making a purchase through shopjari.com (the "Site"), you ("Customer," "you") agree to the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. About Us

Studio JARI LLC is a Brooklyn, New York–based company. All purchases made through shopjari.com are subject to these Terms and any applicable product-specific terms posted at the time of purchase.

Contact: info@shopjari.com

2. Eligibility

By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and are using a valid payment method that you are authorized to use.

3. Orders & Acceptance

3.1 Order Confirmation

An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order. JARI reserves the right to accept, decline, modify, or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock unavailability, or shipping restrictions.

3.2 Pricing and Errors

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and exclude applicable taxes and shipping unless otherwise stated. We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy; however, in the event of a pricing or product description error, we reserve the right to correct the error and, if necessary, cancel the affected order with a full refund.

3.3 Payment

Payment is processed at the time of order placement. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout.

3.4 Order Cancellation by Customer

You may request cancellation of an order before it has been processed for shipment by contacting info@shopjari.com. Once a package has been handed to the carrier, cancellation is no longer available; the order will follow our standard Returns policy (Section 5).

4. Shipping & Delivery

4.1 Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days. Processing time may vary during peak periods, holidays, or for items requiring special handling.

4.2 Carriers and Methods

We ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS depending on destination, item, and selected shipping method. Estimated transit times are provided at checkout and are not guaranteed.

4.3 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and dimensions.

4.4 Shipping Addresses

The Customer is responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address. JARI is not responsible for delays, non-delivery, or losses resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable addresses. If a package is returned to us due to an invalid address or refused delivery, the Customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any reshipment fees.

4.5 Risk of Loss and Title Transfer

Title to goods and risk of loss pass to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier. Once carrier tracking shows the package has been delivered — or made available for pickup at a carrier Access Point or alternate delivery location — the package is deemed delivered and the Customer assumes responsibility for it.

4.6 Failed Delivery and Access Point Pickup

If the carrier is unable to deliver the package to the Customer's address, the package may be redirected to a carrier Access Point (e.g., a UPS Store) for pickup. The Customer is responsible for retrieving the package within the carrier's hold period (typically 5–7 business days).

Packages returned to JARI due to failure to pick up are subject to return shipping fees and may forfeit eligibility for a full refund. Any wear or damage to packaging resulting from prolonged hold at a carrier Access Point is not considered transit damage and is not eligible for free return or replacement.

4.7 International Shipping

shopjari.com ships within the contiguous United States only, unless otherwise specified at checkout. Where international shipping is offered, the Customer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees levied by the destination country.

5. Returns & Refunds

5.1 Return Window

You may request a return within 14 calendar days of the date the package is marked as delivered (or, if redirected, of the first delivery attempt). Return requests submitted after this window will not be accepted.

5.2 Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition as received

  • In original packaging, with all tags, manuals, and accessories intact

  • Free of any signs of use, alteration, or damage caused after delivery

5.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase

  • Personalized or custom-made items

  • Gift cards

  • Items damaged due to Customer mishandling after delivery

  • Items returned in non-original or compromised packaging

5.4 Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Email info@shopjari.com with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Upon approval, you will receive return instructions.

  3. Ship the item back at your expense, using a trackable shipping method.

JARI is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in return transit.

5.5 Return Shipping Costs

The Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, except in cases where the item is defective or was damaged in transit (see Section 6). JARI does not provide prepaid return labels for change-of-mind returns or for returns based on speculative concerns about packaging where the product itself is not damaged.

5.6 Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after receipt. The original shipping cost is non-refundable, except where the return is due to JARI's error or a confirmed defect.

5.7 Restocking Fee

JARI reserves the right to apply a restocking fee of up to 15% on returns of items that arrive in less-than-resaleable condition.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

6.1 Reporting Window

If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery (or of pickup from a carrier Access Point) by emailing info@shopjari.com.

6.2 Required Documentation

To process a damage claim, please provide:

  • Clear photographs of the outer shipping box

  • Photographs of the inner packaging

  • Photographs of the damaged product showing the defect or damage clearly

  • A brief description of the issue

6.3 Resolution

Upon verification of the damage or defect, JARI will, at our discretion, offer one of the following:

  • A free replacement (subject to stock availability)

  • A full refund, including original and return shipping

  • A partial refund if the Customer elects to keep the item

JARI may file a carrier damage claim on the Customer's behalf and may request that the Customer retain the damaged item and packaging for inspection.

6.4 Carrier Damage Records

Damage claims are evaluated in light of carrier tracking records. The absence of a carrier-recorded damage exception, combined with the Customer's failure to inspect the product itself, may affect claim resolution. Concerns about exterior packaging alone, without verifiable damage to the product itself, do not qualify for free return or replacement.

7. Product Information

7.1 Accuracy

We strive to display products accurately, including colors, dimensions, and materials. Due to variations in monitor display and natural variation in handmade or natural-material goods, slight differences between the product as displayed and as received may occur and do not constitute a defect.

7.2 Availability

All items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue products at any time without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected product.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Studio JARI LLC and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or products.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

JARI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
